ISE welcomes new team members

A head of insights and two interns have joined the ISE team.

ISE is pleased to welcome Georgia Greer to the ISE team as head of insights. With a background in early careers, she brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to the role, particularly in apprenticeships.

Working alongside joint CEO Stephen Isherwood, Georgia will support the team in shaping, implementing and communicating the Institute’s research agenda. Her work will help members create and develop their early careers strategies and benchmark operations.

A few words from Georgia…

“After graduating with a degree in philosophy, I started my career on the Harrods Retail Executive Training Programme before moving to HR. I’ve since spent nearly 20 years working in talent acquisition, and more recently on learning and development.

“Having been privileged to work with a variety of employers in different sectors, including the Bank of England and Deloitte, the ISE role is a great match for me. I’m delighted to join the team, focusing on two of my professional passions – insights and analytics.

“I’m passionate about all things talent, employability and future of work. I love hearing about what others are doing, sharing good practices and learning from each other.  I also like the data side of things, understanding what it is telling us, and translating that into trends and tangible actions.

“I’m excited to connect and reconnect with people across early careers, emerging talent and beyond to start some great conversation that will help progress the industry as a whole.”

Welcoming our new interns

Two business management students from Greenwich University join the ISE on a four-week placement.

Denise Scopelliti and Mohammad Abrar will work alongside the ISE team to provide in-depth labour market information on two of our key sectors, which will support membership growth.

Both Denise and Mohammad will gain exposure to business development activities and will be expected to present their findings to joint CEO Sarah Hathaway and ISE director, Sophie Meany.

If these projects are successful, we will look to secure further interns over the coming months to work on additional sectors.
