Webinar: Setting up and managing virtual internships: a university’s perspective

Apr 23, 2020 | Work experience/internships

The University of York’s Student Internship Bureau established arrangements for promoting and managing virtual internships around five years ago in response to the demand for student and graduate level skills from SMEs in the rural areas of North Yorkshire.

This webinar looks at some of the learning gained from the experience of introducing and growing the concept of virtual internships that can add tangible value to the host business and also offer manageable, challenging, work experience to the student.

The webinar is delivered by Andrew Ferguson from the Careers and Placements Service at the University of York who has over 10 years’ experience in the set up and management of internships with SME businesses.
